Privacy Policy
OH DELI Gate is an attendance and face-enrollment app operated by MARKS TOURS AND TRAVELS PRIVATE LIMITED for authorized OH DELI teams. An organization-provided sign-in is required. The app does not offer public account registration.
Information used by the app
- Account and staff information: operator sign-in information, staff names and employee identifiers, assigned work locations, enrollment status and consent records.
- Camera images and biometric information: fresh face photographs captured during enrollment or attendance, facial templates or provider identifiers, and face-verification results. Enrollment uses separate camera captures to verify the face record. Attendance captures are compared with enrolled face records.
- Attendance information: capture times, attendance direction and processing status, device and work-location identifiers, verification outcomes, and records needed to review failed or disputed captures.
- Technical information: app-generated device identifiers, device registration keys, synchronization status, network requests and security/audit information needed to operate and protect the service.
The app requests camera permission for enrollment and attendance. It does not request access to your contacts, microphone, SMS, photo library or GPS location. An authorized operator selects an assigned work location in the app; this is not GPS tracking. The app does not contain advertising or use an Advertising ID.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate authorized operators, connect approved devices to work locations, enroll staff with recorded consent, verify attendance captures, synchronize records, prevent duplicate or unauthorized entries, and support HR review. A photo stored on a phone is not a confirmed attendance entry until the server processes it.
Where photos and face information are stored
Enrollment photos are sent over HTTPS to the OH DELI attendance service. When Luxand is the configured face provider, photos are also sent to Luxand Cloud for face processing and creation of a person record and face template. HR keeps an encrypted copy of the enrollment photograph. Attendance captures and associated evidence are stored by the OH DELI service and may be sent to Luxand for verification.
The phone stores encrypted local configuration, enrollment drafts or receipts, and queued captures in the app's private storage. Pending data may remain on the phone until synchronization succeeds. Signing out does not automatically erase queued captures.
Who receives information
Authorized OH DELI HR administrators and operators can access information relevant to their role. Hosting providers, including Amazon Web Services, process information to run the OH DELI service. Luxand Cloud processes the photos and biometric information necessary for face enrollment and verification. These service providers are used to deliver the app's functions. The app does not sell personal information or share it for advertising.
Retention and deletion
Enrollment records remain active until an authorized HR administrator revokes them. Revocation removes the active encrypted enrollment payload from the HR service and requests deletion of the associated Luxand person record. If the provider is unavailable, cloud deletion may remain pending and must be completed by HR. Audit metadata may remain to document the revocation.
The current service does not automatically delete all attendance photographs, audit records or local drafts after a fixed number of days. They remain until reviewed and removed through the organization's administrative process. Contact us to request access, correction, revocation or deletion and to ask which records are retained. Requests are reviewed in light of attendance-record requirements, unresolved disputes and other applicable obligations; records that must be retained will be explained to you.
Your choices
Do not enroll or capture another person's face without the required notice and consent. You can deny or revoke camera permission in Android settings; camera-based functions will then be unavailable. Contact your HR administrator about an alternative attendance process, withdrawing enrollment consent, deactivating your organization-provided access, or deleting information. Uninstalling the app removes local app data but does not automatically delete server or Luxand records.
Security
The app uses HTTPS for server communication, authenticated access, encrypted local storage and encrypted HR enrollment payloads. No security method is absolute. Keep the registered device and sign-in details protected and report suspected unauthorized access.
Children
OH DELI Gate is intended for authorized adult workplace users. It is not directed to children.

Changes
Updates to this policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Changes in face-processing providers or data use will also be reflected in the app's disclosures where appropriate.
